Please note that due to the closure in March ’23 of the ‘Whelan’ (Inishfree) factory in Cavan, availability of pomps and treble shoes amongst other dance shoes have been severely affected Worldwide. This unfortunately has meant that unprecedented delays are likely to occur in relation to availability of popular sizes. ‘Whelans Footwear’ manufactured many treble shoe big brands including the very popular ‘Feis Fayre’ Flexi Pro and subsequently as stocks have depleted, this has led to unprecedented delays that are entirely beyond our control.
I would ask that all dancers who require ‘Flexi pro’ shoes for the new dancing term in September, order well in advance (we have just been informed that standard fit shoes will not be available until the first week in October ) as orders will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
We do apologise for this inconvenience, however we ask you to please be patient as companies work alongside new manufacturers who can offer you the highest possible standard of Irish dance footwear. Thank you for your understanding.
